Dr. Kiyana Kianfar-Jagoda, PsyD., LMFT

Clinical Supervisor


Dr. Kianfar-Jagoda is the program director at Cirrus Behavioral Health. She supports the day treatment program by providing clinical services, consultation and supervision.


Dr. Kianfar-Jagoda completed her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University and Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. She is a post-doctoral psychology resident and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of California. She has extensive clinical experience treating children, teens, & adults with emotional & behavioral issues including Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Personality Disorders, Alcohol and Drug Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, Adjustment Disorders, Grief/Loss, Trauma, Mood Disorders, Impulse Control Disorders/Anger Management, and more. 


Dr. Kianfar-Jagoda is a bilingual (Farsi- speaking) clinician and has been serving the mental health needs of individuals and families struggling with complex trauma, severe mental illness, substance abuse disorder for over a decade. She offers individual, couples, family and group therapy. Her approach is collaborative, strength-based, supportive, and tailored to the needs of each individual client. She incorporates evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, MI, EMDR and holistic psychotherapy approaches to assist.


In her spare time, Dr. Kianfar-Jagoda enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, practicing yoga and exploring new hiking trails in San Diego.
